Computer Systems Analyst
(FULL TIME)

POSITION OVERVIEW
Reporting to the General Manager, the Computer Systems Analyst, is part of the Canary Health team and will work across the Operations, Product, Finance and Marketing Teams to design operational, billing and reporting systems for project stakeholders, departmental managers, and clients. The computer systems analysts will also accompany implementation of system as well as lead quality improvement and research initiatives to accompany requirements definition for innovation and productivity, advise cross functional teams on strategies to improve their processes and systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan and run workshops, qualitative interviews, and quantitative data collection on-site and remotely with management and clients to capture requirements for billing, registration, program, marketing, and engagement tracking systems.
Collect and analyze data on customer preferences and needs to define desired system features and engagement strategies.
Run workshops with team to clarify requirements, needs, flows and existing system.
Review existing company research and documentation to ensure solution fit.
Shadow employees for various tasks, interacting with billing, registration, program engagement, and marketing tracking to capture workarounds and inefficiencies.
Review data captured within systems to diagnose system efficiency.
Model data and system based on strategic understanding.
Evaluate costs and benefits for the system redesign, including benchmark to market solutions available for purchase (with customization).
Create backlog and roadmap for features; work with client to prioritize features. Validate alignment with company-wide strategy.
Create system requirements.
Create flowcharts for accompanying improved processes.
Work with technical team to implement solution.
Develop test cases and test systems following implementation.
Develop documentation and training to assist users and clients.
Work with teams to develop metrics for new system – including performance indicators.
Devise and evaluate methods and procedures for capturing client requirements at large scale - collecting data, such as surveys, opinion polls, or questionnaires, or arrange to obtain existing data.
Monitor use and satisfaction of system on users and design systems for improvement.
Prepare reports and documentation for management.
Prepare and facilitate design thinking workshops for fellow employees to generate prototypes in preparation for detailed requirements.
Supervise third-party suppliers and other team members as needed during system implementation.
Create project deliverables including requirements, client workshop findings, presentations, prototypes, and other appropriate materials.
Create, maintain and design improvements for client report system for billing milestones, revenue, and participant usage as well as for operations; generate and present related reports.
Automate processes for employee productivity in using applications and information requirements.
Support client-specific information requests regarding participation, billing, and milestones.
Perform other duties as assigned.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
Req. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Policy & Mgmt, Healthcare
Information Science, or related, and 2 years’ experience as Computer Systems
Analyst or Computer Science Analyst in the IT sector.
